Handup Gloves are already some of our favorites...
...thanks to their minimalist construction and good grip on the bars (and beers). But, even though they were inspired by cyclocross, they could be a bit thin for winter. Now, they’ve got new fleece lined gloves to keep your hands a bit warmer.
Minimalistic gloves are all the rage right now, and for good reason
Outside of a high-speed and treacherous downhill setting, they provide plenty of protection in the event you decide to go from riding your bike to doing a handstand down the trail. Handup gloves are lightweight, yet still have a Clarino leather palm and silicone printed graphics to deliver plenty of grip without losing the feeling of a direct connection to your bike.
Don’t Drop It! Handup Gloves Keeps the Can in your Hand
Every now and then a product comes along that does things a bit differently. Sealskinz made socks waterproof, Stan’s sealant eliminated the inner tube and now Handup Gloves has created a glove that makes the common hand-up nearly foolproof. The gloves have become quite popular thanks in part to the company’s savvy social media presence. So we wanted to see what Handup Gloves were all about, aside from the slick style.
I'm used to being a thing by now...
Buy a pair of Handup Gloves soon. Every order ships with one until they run out. Which could be soon. Or not. I have no idea. If you don't have a pair of Handups, you should. They're very nice. Like a Holy Grail. Of course, if you're not too keen on acquiring a pair because you've already got one, feel free to mock those without.
...the more I rode them, the more I liked them
Not having the velcro around the wrist, regardless of the top or bottom, makes you feel like you have complete range of motion. They are not too tight either, so they don’t feel like they are cutting off the circulation. For pulling them on, Handup included a nice little pull tab with their logo stitched onto it. So grab some bars, grab some beers, but first, grab some gloves from Handup Gloves!
Speaking of the grip...
In all honesty, these are the comfiest gloves I’ve put on, in both fit and feel, and are far and beyond the sturdiest I’ve tried out as well. These are extremely close to being the perfect glove for all occasions!
