    Perfect Trail/Camp Windbreaker

Keep it in the van at all times, comes in handy more than expected.

    So far so great!

Thin, lightweight and windproof… Just what I wanted! So far I have just used this a couple of times. around the campsite on a cool evening and morning, it made a nice layer for warmth and I used it in a rainstorm once. It’s not waterproof like a legit rain jacket, but keeps most of the drizzle off of you. I expect it will be the perfect thing for when I get caught in a storm while riding, and that’s the real reason I carry it out on long rides. It stuffs nicely into the large hidden zip pocket (which sits inside the hand warmer pocket, and is great for holding items securely) Fabric is still nice and breathable, (unlike actual rain gear) which is another reason to use it while riding versus truly waterproof fabric which doesn’t breathe.

Really practical but not a full on rain jacket

I love how it packs down really small (small enough to fit in my water bottle pocket in my bib and it’s really easy to put on because of the long zipper. It also fits a go pro perfect with the zipper down. But with that being said, I don’t know if it stands out in any other way. It’s not that rain resistant and the strings for the hood is way too long. And I don’t think having a pocket in front is such a great idea for riding apparel. And the hidden pocket that I’ve never used, I feel like anything that’s in it would be in the wrong spot if one was riding fast.

    My “Go-to” Windbreaker

I love this windbreaker! We had many wet and windy days this Winter and Spring in the Reno / Tahoe area. I always carried this in my backpack and used it on many occasions. It performed perfectly…never wet or cold during the ride. And it’s super comfortable material.

    Windbreak

The eyelet where the tie string passes needs to be stitched not a metal ring. Mine came out. Handup offered to replace. Im not sending this windbreaker back. Its mine now and **** happens. Its MTB. Thanks Handup.
